An epic adventure, a murder investigation and a love story set in the beautiful extremes of the High Arctic and the boom town urban energy of 1917 Edmonton. The story, based on true events, begins when two Oblate missionaries disappear in the Coppermine, a remote Arctic region notorious for wicked shamans, dark spirits and death. North West Mounted Police officer Jack Creed and Angituk, a young interpreter, are sent on a year long odyssey to investigate.
